The application is particularly suited to professionals in agriculture, forestry, housing development, and land surveying, as well as those engaged in infrastructure design for sectors such as energy, water and sewage, gas, telecommunications, and road engineering.

Beyond these areas, Mapit GIS Professional can be adapted for spatial asset management, fisheries and wildlife monitoring, habitat and soil mapping, or any other field-based data collection need—offering the flexibility to support applications the developers may never have imagined.

Main functionality changes

Mapit GIS Professional now utilises the Mapbox Maps SDK, replacing the Google Maps framework used in earlier versions of the application.
